'An adult eats like this?': Man shares large grocery haul, sparks debate about healthy eating

Out of all the varied topics that we deal with in life, few are as guaranteed to cause controversy as anything involving food. Cooking, eating, and grocery shopping just have something about them that can send the internet into a tailspin.

This happened once again on Twitter recently after somebody posted a Reddit screenshot of a man showing off a grocery haul and complaining that his wife was unimpressed. The trunk of the car featured things like eggs, Gatorade, and trail mix that appeared to have been bought in bulk.

Many people wasted no time in criticizing everything that was on display, with a number of comments that there didn't appear to be enough ingredients there to cook a meal with. However, others pointed out that the kind of place where the Redditor had been shopping was probably not appropriate for all conventional groceries. There's just no winning over everyone with your shopping list.
